Valentine's Day Date Ideas On A Budget

Hey lovelies,

It's that time of the month where some of us dread and some of us love! Yes, you got that right, Valentine's Day! I am indifferent about the holiday because it also so happens to be my birthday. But none the less, I still love the idea of it and thought I would let ya guys know what my go to activities are for the most romantic day of the year! Whether you're on a budget, or just don't want to be around a crowd, I got ya covered!

1.  Picnic in the Park
Not only is this a romantic and thoughtful idea, it is also a money saver! You could cook up your go to meal, pop it in a picnic basket, and head out to your favorite park with your loved one. You don't have to worry about overcrowded restaurants or having to wait for a table. This way your out soaking up some Vitamin D all while taking in a beautiful view of the city.

2. Movie Night
Okay, you're probably thinking, really, movie night?! Uhh yes, movie night! Some of us don't have the same schedules as our honey buns so nothing says I love spending time with you than a planned out cuddle movie night. Pick a movie you both have been wanting to see and will enjoy. Turn off the lights and get your most coziest blanket to cuddle under. Next up, snacks! It wouldn't be a movie night without snacks, hello! Popcorn, pickles, baked cookies, brownies, etc. You know whats good!

3. Dinner Teamwork
I always have a good time when my significant other are in the kitchen cooking dinner. Browse on pinterest and find a recipe you and your partner could recreate. Buy the ingredients and get to cooking! bond over a glass of wine all while having laughs in the kitchen! You'll have fun making the delicious dish all while dancing and being silly to your favorite songs!

4. A Day at a Museum
Check out when your local museums have free admission! Most dedicate a day out of the week to where they don't charge for admission. I love going to art and history museums and soaking in all interesting information! You can easily kill hours here and get some cool photos for the gram!

5. Hiking
I live in Austin, Texas so there are hiking trails galore! Literally on each side of town you're bound to find one. I'm not sure if that's the case where you live, but if it is, grab your tennis shoes! You can get some scenic views and burn off those cookies you had the night before! And, i'm not sure about you guys, but I always have the best conversations when I'm walking. I don't know what it is about the outdoors, but it's always a good time.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I do! Happy Valentine's Day!

Stephanie Marie.
