10 Things People Don't Know About Me

Hi everyone, hope y'all are having a good wednesday. I was inspired to create this blog from my best friend who initially made a similar post. If you haven't already, go check out her blog! Blogging has become a form of therapy, and I've dedicated 2019 to a year of self healing. Enjoy!

  1. I was born with my 2nd toe overlapping my 3rd toe on both feet! My grandma would separate them with tape to correct them, and surprisingly enough, it worked! So thank you grandma for your weird home remedy to my odd feet.
  2. Growing up, I was obsessed with figure skating. I could literally spend hours watching it on TV. Unfortunately, I've yet to ice skate and fulfill my childhood dream. Definitely on my bucket list though!
  3. I suffer from crippling migraines ever since I can remember. I have to avoid certain lightning, scents, and foods to not trigger them.
  4. I absolutely hate wearing shoes. If it was up to me, I'd be barefoot 24/7, everywhere I went. I honestly don't even drive with shoes on.
  5. I am a hypochondriac. Any odd symptom, weird pain, or really anything unusual than normal I think I'm dying.
  6. My family on my mother's side is hispanic so growing I learned to speak spanish by watching novelas, mexican soap operas. My spanish is no where near perfect, but it's not completely hopeless!
  7. I am lactose intolerant. The weird thing is I wasn't until recently. I guess it's one of the many perks of getting old!
  8. I am awkward and takes a while for me to fully become comfortable with someone to be completely myself around.
  9. I've had the same best friend since elementary. I didn't have many friends growing up and still don't. Which is fine with me. I enjoy my own company.
  10. I love highway driving. I'm usually the one who volunteers to drive long hours on road trips. There's just something relaxing and soothing about it. City driving is a whole other story. I have major anxiety driving in cities.
Let me know if you have any in common with me!
